Welcome to October!

Can you believe it's October already?

For me (Laura) down in Sydney, that means spring has well and truly begun and we are enjoying some gorgeous weather!

October is traditionally dedicated to the Holy Rosary, and this month on the 13th, our Holy Father is consecrating the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. October is also an awesome month for the Sacred Heart. On the 16th, we celebrate the feast day of St Margaret Mary, the great apostle of the Sacred Heart!

Just a reminder, we have two prompts for our October link-up:

This month, Pope Francis plans on consecrating the whole world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary... What role does the Immaculate Heart play in your devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus? What does Our Lady teach us about Her Son's Heart?

And just in case, here's a second prompt:

This month, First Friday falls on the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi... As St. Francis was praying, the Lord called him to "restore my Church." In what ways do you think the Sacred Heart devotion can help to restore the Church in our day?

But again, anything on the Sacred Heart is more than welcome!

Please also keep the Pope's intentions in your prayers this month.

To help, I even made a picture of it! Feel free to use or repost elsewhere if you think it might help.

Or there's more of a sidebar option!

Hoping you all have a blessed October. Ryan and I, as well as many others, can't wait to read your fabulous posts on the Sacred Heart this First Friday!

St Therese of Jesus, ora pro nobis!
